UNO Print Workshop
 VISITING ARTIST RESIDENCY
 JANUARY 19 - 27, 2016

STEPHEN ROBERTS



Stephen, recognized as one of the premiere photo realists painters in the nation, graduated from UNO in 1976. He has exhibited nationwide, in venues such as the Museum of Nebraska Art in Kearney, the Seventh Regiment Armory in New York and the Navy Pier Exposition in Chicago. In 2002 he won the commission to paint a series of murals in the Nebraska State Capitol building. He is represented by the Allan Stone Gallery in New York City.


  

KEVIN SALZMAN


Kevin is a nationally recognized master printmaker. Kevin earned an MFA from the University of Colorado, Boulder in printmaking. He’s taught at Wittenberg University in Ohio, and at UNO. He has exhibited widely and is currently the Installation Designer at Joslyn Art Museum. The artists will produce a lithograph edition print for the Print Workshop.



 January 18th

Steve drew out a test image on his first Litho drawing.

January 23rd
Steve and Kevin discuss the drawing.
